A meeting unlike any you’ve had with yourself. A chance to see, from a different angle, the operating system that runs the human experience – and maybe discover things you didn’t know existed inside you.
There are artists we invite to Midbar. And there are those you simply can’t imagine Midbar without. Orka is the only one who’s been with us at every Midbar event. From the very first one until today. And maybe that’s no coincidence. Because if we had to invent a definition for Orka, we’d probably call her a rockstar shaman. On one hand – wild, fiery, funny, unapologetic, with a presence you can’t miss. On the other, when she sits down at the center of the circle and starts to sing, something in the room – or in our case, in the desert – simply changes.
Sahar and Sasha met on the dance floor and have been dancing and creating together ever since. Developers of the “Deep Contact: a body-soul dancing community” approach, centered on body-soul development through movement expression, body communication, and dance. Together with a wonderful team of teachers they trained, they lead annual programs, courses, and retreats across Israel.
