MASTER CLASSES

OMER GONEN HAELA
Our voice, raw and wild, is a gateway to a world of experience, emotion, and consciousness beyond words. The more we allow ourselves to explore it freely, beyond the constraints of aesthetics and beauty, the more we can touch hidden places within us and allow them to emerge in a creative, free, emotional, alive, and ever-changing space. Such a space, full of respect and free of judgment, when held together as a group, allows for an experience of deep release, nourishment, and healing.
The gateway to prayer opens when intention and words are added to this space. Conscious prayer creates a bridge—one side rises from the realm of dreams and visions, those we may have forgotten, while the other descends into the realm of manifestation and realization, with its center anchored in the present moment. Conscious prayer is a powerful force of creation and realization—from vision to reality.
"I define myself today as a 'Ba'al Tefillah' (Master of Prayer). This title, from the Jewish tradition, is given to a person who uses their creativity through prayer as a tool to connect people to their deepest essence, to their personal guidance, and to each other. I see prayer as a source of creativity that exists within all of us, as a language that forever evolves and grows, as a way to bring people together to feel, sing, dream, share, and reveal themselves."
